I got a new book, Around the Corner Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman. Then I realized I hadn't done anything from her previous book I purchased, so I did a couple of patterns from Beond the Square Crochet Motifs.

Around the Corner Crochet Borders by Edie Eckman, and some new crochet hooks :-)
Motif #88 (top square) and #114 (bottom square)

I finished sewing the pirate garb on to my Monstie Pirate...

Fun to do!

  2. Hehe..

Chinchilla looks very happy with her apple wedge! I need to get that book with borders since I already have the other one :) What is that shiny thing next to the crochet hooks?

  3. Thanks! The chinnie is very happy!

The shiny thing next to the hooks is a sturdy plastic container to hold the hooks. The hooks are K,L,N size. (In case I need them!) I was tempted to buy a tatting shuttle too but really would need someone to show me how to use it in person!
